Happy anniversary to the SOULFLY album Prophecy (2004)!

In my worthless opinion, what makes this album unique is that Max is working towards a synthesis of his previous, post-1991 Sepultura and Soulfly groove metal, thrash metal, death metal, punk, rap rock, and experimental sounds all into a full-blown Soulfly all-around sound. He's trying to have his cake and eat it, too; he's attempting to do it all, and man, you can't even get mad at this dude for doing it because it works! Come for the grooves, stay for the variety. Max is a crazy cat.
