in memory of SHOK PARIS drummer Bill Sabo (1960-2007)
William Sabo (July 26, 1960 - March 16, 2007)
Metal Archives shows that Bill Sabo was a founding member and the original drummer for the Cleveland, Ohio, heavy metal band Shok Paris, and he was with them from 1982 until 1986. His most notable work was playing drums on the band's debut 1984 album Go for the Throat, a cult favorite for fans of the Cleveland sound and of what some German fans call U.S. metal, a blue-collar, gritty type of heavy metal that is hard, tough while melodic.
