In my opinion, Sepultura broke onto the international metal scene with the 1989 masterful, classic of classics Beneath the Remains and touring like crazy and putting on at this time the best metal concerts that you ever saw in your life. This band played tight but intense and crazy and put out a tremendous amount energy that the crowds fed off of. The iron was hot! The struck again with Arise in 1991. In my opinion, these two albums and their extensive touring and great shows really built this band internationally into something that had to be seen.
