Frontman John Cooper stated that the song's themes focus on the volatility of modern social media culture and the desire to find meaning amid societal chaos. The release coincides with the announcement of the band's upcoming fall headlining run, the Comatose: 20 Years, Still Screaming Tour, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Comatose.
