remembering Girlschool guitarist singer Kelly Johnson

Bernadette Jean "Kelly" Johnson (20 June 1958 – 15 July 2007) was a guitarist and singer for the New Wave of British Heavy Metal band Girlschool [1975-1978 (as Painted Lady), 1978-present]. The Metal Archives shows Kelly's work with Girlschool: guitars (1978-1983, 1993-2000), vocals (1978-1982). During that time, her work on the most important releases is: 1980 Demolition (lead guitars and vocals), 1981 Hit and Run (lead guitars and vocals), 1982 Screaming Blue Murder (guitars and vocals), and 1983 Play Dirty (lead guitars). Personally, I enjoy all those albums with Kelly, in addition to all the other Girlschool albums. Play some Girlschool today!
