About this recording: "In 2018 before the release of Waves, I spent a handful of months exploring a more indie/punk/shoegaze-influenced sound before going in a different direction. Having just returned from a dream trip to Japan, I wanted to capture the mental freedom I felt while being away from the US. My brief time in Japan offered me space to think about where I saw my creative endeavors going and how I envisioned my life to be. Now two years later, I've decided to release four tracks from that exploration as a window into the optimism I felt during that time. It is this optimism that I hope to capture again as I continue my journey through music and explore the sounds that inspire me to the fullest."
