According to The Metal Archives, the technical death metal band Dysgnostic [Denmark; 2008-2021 (as Defilementory), 2021-present] will unleash its second album End Whispers on July 10, 2026, on Transcending Obscurity Records, which describes the music as "hypnotic dissonant death metal." Sometimes when you see the word "dissonant" you know that the music could potentially get sideways crazy. In this case, though, while it is certainly not simplistic old-school chugging riffs, I find that the music still has an abundance of headbanging metal music energy, which is great because that's what I want. When listening to this album, I don't necessarily want to be reaching for my Texas Instruments Scientific Calculator in order to figure out the equations and prime factorization taking place in the songwriting.
