This album has shredding, melodic soloing, thrashy riffs, breakdowns, and a consistent emphasis on faith and perseverance. The album presents a particular sound of metalcore in which there is quite a bit of classic metal working into the contemporary sound. The vocals and the album's crunch are all metalcore, but what about all those melodies?! That's a bit of a different angle, and the music is all the better for it.
