Cozy was with Rainbow from 1975 to 1980 for the following albums: Rising (1976), Long Live Rock 'n' Roll (1978) and Down to Earth (1979). He was with Black Sabbath for the following albums: Headless Cross (1989), Tyr (1990), and Forbidden (1995). Cozy worked with a tremendously long lists of projects, bands and artists, some of which are, according to The Metal Archives: Tony Martin, Yngwie Malmsteen, Bedlam, Big Bertha, Blue Murder, Cajo, Cozy Powell, Cozy Powell's Hammer, Emerson, Lake & Powell, Forcefield, Gary Moore, Graham Bonnet, Jeff Beck's Group,Michael Schenker Group, Pete York / Cozy Powell, Peter Green Splinter Group, Phenomena, The Ace Kefford Stand, The Brian May Band, The Corals, The Snakes, The Sorcerers, Tipton, Entwistle and Powell, Tony Joe White, Whitesnake, Youngblood, amongst others.
For fans of classic rock, hard rock and heavy metal, somewhere in their collection of records and cds, or in their playlists, there's a song with Cozy playing drums on it, whether they know it or not. What a drummer!
