Celebrating the anniversary of THE AMBOY DUKES (featuring TED NUGENT) album Journey to the Center of the Mind

Both Wikipedia and the record label Mainstream Records show April 1968 as the release month for this album (although the YouTube channel DashGoTV shows May 8, 1968 as the release date). This was the second album by the American classic rock band The Amboy Dukes (formed in 1964), a pionnering band playing a cauldron of rock music, incorporating the psychedelic rock of its time, but also hard rock and proto-metal. FYI: Wikipedia shows that Ted Nugent (born in 1948) was still in high school at St. Viator High School when The Amboy Dukes played their first show in 1965 in Chicago!

Wikipedia says:
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the Journey to the Center of the Mind album "bridged psychedelia and hard rock". Singers Room described the album as "a blend of garage rock and psychedelic influences" ... The album also showcases Ted Nugent's guitar skills, with Ultimate Classic Rock writing, "His lead on 'Flight of the Byrd' [is] down and dirty, while his playing on 'Scottish Tea' is highly melodic and inventive".
