celebrating anniversary BELORE's album Eastern Tales

BELORE (2019-present) is an epic and atmospheric black metal project from France. Originally a solo project by Aleevok, it is a duo with drummer Charlie Videau. According to The Metal Archives, the band’s music is centered on a medieval fantasy universe created by the band, with lyrical themes focusing on nature, mythology, and imaginary landscapes. The sound is compared to artists like Summoning and Caladan Brood, blending raspy black metal vocals with lush synthesizers, flutes, and folk-inspired melodies. There are three albums: Journey Through Mountains and Valleys (2020), Artefacts (2021), and Eastern Tales, released on April 5, 2024. Some sources say that as of April 2026, BELORE is active in the European festival circuit, having recently performed at events such as the Cernunnos Pagan Fest in France and the Heathen Strike over Brno in Czechia in February 2026.
