celebrating the black metal anniversary of ELDERWIND - Древнее древних / Older than Ancient

According to The Metal Archives: Elderwind is an atmospheric black metal band from Yekaterinburg, Russia, formed in 2009. From the information on The Metal Archives, it looks like their focus is on nature, the mountains, and the cold atmosphere of the wilderness. It is a nature-driven sound, blending aggressive black metal elements with sweeping, melodic synth-atmospheres.
The band was founded by Vyacheslav Oboskalov, who handles the songwriting and guitars. Some internet sources say that the name Elderwind was partially inspired by the game Morrowind. I don't know what that is, actually; maybe it is of interest to the people that know. Anyway, there is melody in here, but the harsh vocals—prototypical shrieking, throat-ripping black metal for the most part—might make you not notice the melody. The music can go at midtempo speeds, but don't be surprised when this whole thing all of a sudden launches into frenetic blasting speeds that will blow back your hair.
To end, the band has four albums: 2012, 2018, 2021, and this one from 2025.
