Foul Temple seems to be an anonymous entity in Adelaide, Australia, according to Bandcamp. This recording is four songs in 21 minutes. It is total black metal necro grimness with shrieked, voice-ripping vocals. The sound quality is ok and fits this type of do-it-yourself demo in which guitars and vocals dominate, and drumming sounds like programming, and is somewhat muffled. Despite these typical traits of a DIY recording, it is exactly the type of demo that devoted black metal fanatics would enjoy a lot. The blazing speed, the paint-melting screaming and the classic-style guitar work are undeniable and require exactly five seconds to see that this is serious black metal meant to get people banging their heads and lifting up those metal horns. Metal Archives shows no previous recordings, so this is a good beginning. Convincing stuff.
