Blood Sport - speed metal from Finland

The story goes that the two Finns were thinking that there was not enough speed metal in the world. In Finland there is a special saying that only Finnish say, and it goes, "If you want something done, do it yourself. Git'er dun!" That's what they did. They say they are descended as a mix of Judas Priest and Venom. Maybe add some Tank into that equation. If you could imagine some of those classic Tank riffs from "Filth Hounds of Hades" (1982), then you'd be right in the neighborhood where you need to be. Tank's "Shellshock," "Struck by Lightning," and "Turn Your Head Around" from said album and the music of Blood Sport sure have some commonalities. Blood Sport is speed metal for the obsessed with fast, classic heavy metal.
