Washington quick news: ApHelion photos from April 7th, 2018 in Arlington

Here are some photos of ApHelion in action this past weekend in Arlington. If you have not checked out their technical melodic death metal, see the first link below.

It looks like there are many bands with this particular name, but this is the Washington state death metal group. They have brutal, technical and melodic elements, with gruff vocals. They say that they are from Snohomish County. The band has been doing shows for a minute now, it seems, because their name continually pops up in this publication’s Washington state metal concert calendar. Maybe that means that things are going well for the band. We definitely could use more metal bands here in the broader Snohomish County region. They already have a recording called Tortured-Existence and it is available on Bandcamp, where you can hear the four-song recording in its entirety.
