Blood and Thunder returned to the stage in Everett on April 20th, 2018.
Blood and Thunder closed the night of metal music at Obscurus in Everett on April 20th, 2018. What a show it was! The band's energy and joy of being on the stage completely convinced the people present. This band has some interesting news coming up because they are working on things, the wheels are rolling for the next phase of the band. The band came ready to rock and the crowd was ready for it! Then, it happened. The crowd went bananas when the swords were distributed and many people starting banging their heads and fighting each other with their swords and it looked a bunch of pirates in the crowd fighting each other. In addition, the monkeys were flying. Some people had monkeys on their backs, others were doing duels and others were trying mosh while the monkey, birds (or airplanes?), swords and balloons were flying around.
It is possible that many people were injured. All that sword fighting is bound to lead to someone getting injured. After all, plastic balloon swords are serious business.
A good time was had by all. Don't sleep on Blood and Thunder. They are working on something. You'll know soon enough.
Here is some visual evidence of what happened.
The story of Blood and Thunder is that when times get tough, you must get tougher and carry on. The band began some ten years ago, but as people’s lives and goals have changed, personnel changes have had to take place. How many times has the band’s mastermind Ryan Yancey has had to reboot this little Frankenstein? Only he knows and it is probably too many to count. However, it is 2018 and Blood and Thunder continues to bring its symphonic, melodic extreme metal live to the audiences in the state of Washington. This spring and summer of 2018 are looking like Blood and Thunder will making the rounds to the venues that host metal bands.
