Happy birthday to multi-genre bassist extraordinaire Oliver Holzwarth!

October 19, 1967: Oliver Holzwarth - birthday

The Metal Archives that Oliver has worked with: Abracadabra, Coldseed, Sieges Even, Paradox, Pergana, Power Quest, Rhapsody of Fire, Tragul, Blind Guardian, Chinchilla, Leaves' Eyes, Tarja, Demons & Wizards, Brutal Godz, Looking-Glass-Self, Myrkgand, ex-Val'Paraiso, amongst other bands and projects.

Speaking for myself, the work I know best is Sieges Even and Rhapsody. I really like the first Sieges Even album Lifecycle (1988), but in truth there is a lot to explore with Sieges Even which was active: 1982-1985 (as Sodom), 1985-1997, 1999-2002 (as Looking-Glass-Self), 2002-2003 (as Val'Paraiso), 2003-2008; and seven albums.
