In Memory of LIZZY BORDEN Guitarist Tony Matuzak (1961-2021)

Tony Matuzak was the guitarist for the Los Angeles heavy metal band Lizzy Borden. Metal Archives shows that he was with the band from 1983 to 1985 and he played on the 1983 demo, the 1984 Give'Em the Axe EP, and the 1985 album Love You to Pieces, although some sources say that his departure from the band took place in 1984, actually, and not 1985. Therefore, he was them a short time, but an important time early in the band's career as they were establishing themselves. To me, Lizzy Borden's name is permanently connected to the name of Metal Blade Records! As far as I know, there is no dispute that he played on the 1984 EP. Tony passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 59.
