In Memory of AC/DC vocalist Bon Scott
Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott (9 July 1946 – 19 February 1980)
Bon Scott is the legendary frontman for AC/DC during their 1970s rise to the international world of hard rock and heavy metal. I think rock fans all probably know that hardcore AC/DC fan that prefers the Bon Scott era, even while still loving the Brian Johnson albums! Scott Ian from Anthrax thinks Bon Scott is the best there ever was! Bon sang on those classic albums like High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, and Highway to Hell. Bon was like a poet of the street with his lyrics: funny, ridiculous, real, and all on the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. However, his death is a cautionary tale: after a night of heavy drinking in London, he was left unconscious in a car and died from acute alcohol poisoning, having choked on his own vomit. This tragic end serves as a reminder of how an ego-driven, self-centered lifestyle and drugs will end.
