Siren's Rain - Washington folk new album in Oktober

Washington state, USA folk artisans SIREN'S RAIN are now at the village's gate with their full-length album Rise Forth scheduled for October. Here in Washington they play locals shows, around the villages of Tacoma and Seattle. While waiting for the new music, listen below to their previous two EPS. Watch their Facebook page for when they have more information available. FYI: The new album continues their folk metal sound of soft and heavy combinations, with gruff and melodic vocals. The sound quality is good, and audiences into folk metal in general would be advised to put this album on their to-do list. The album is firmly planted in the folk metal genre, like ELUVEITIE and KORPIKLAANI and all those state fair Oktoberfest beer drinking medieval-modern songsters.

ABOUT: "A dark fantastical air and exploration of folklore emanates from Rise Forth, the new album by SIRENS RAIN. Founded in 2014 by William Beritich and Rena Hellzinger, SIRENS RAIN deliver heavy riffs, haunting vocals and ethereal melodies using a vast array of traditional folk instruments. The new record follows the EPs Nightmares from the Abyss (2019) and Beneath the Narrors (2016, re-released 2018)."
“SIRENS RAIN is excited to announce the release of our first full-length album, Rise Forth. This work revisits the harp and mandolin and introduces the nyckelharpa to the band's instrumentation. This album delves into the themes of abandonment, betrayal, hope, despair and resilience. Heavier, faster and galloping, this work showcases the band's musical growth and exploration of the barriers of aggression.”
