Blitz is a one-woman “black speed” or black thrash project in Virginia, USA. Blitz says online that the project started during the quarantine when she was at home with the kids. She kept coming up with riffs that turned into songs. The vocals are a rasping growl, with galloping/headbanging rhythms, as is the drumming. The only part that is melodic would be the solos, but other than that, it is fast songs leaning substantially to the thrash/speed side. In my opinion, the guitar riffs could stand to be a bit louder in the mix, but overall, the recording should be fun for fans of demos/new DIY thrash.
