NEWS: new video by Skinflint (Botswana)

Traditional heavy metal warriors Skinflint (Botswana) have a new album scheduled for December 2016: Chief of the Ghosts. Known for a fierce stubbornness and a total refusal to make their music clinical, safe and overly computerized, Skinflint flies the flag of playing the music honestly and let the chips fall where they may. What does this all mean? Well, it means that they like for the drums to be real drums and for them to play music in the studio that they can play live. Over the years they have won people over with their catchy tunes with their modern take on the vintage sounds of classic heavy metal, as shown on their discography so far:
Massive Destruction full-length 2009
Iklwa full-length 2010
Gauna EP 2011
Dipoko full-length 2012
Okove single 2013
Nyemba full-length 2014
Now, the new album is about to hit. Meanwhile, they have already made a video for the new song called “Ram of Fire.” From the sounds of it, it appears that the universe of Skinflint is unfolding just as it should. The mighty have not fallen, only gotten stronger! There will be more coverage about the new album in the future in this publication. Go over to YouTube and hear the new song.
