"With roots deeply grounded in the same local scene that birthed acts such as August Burns Red, Texas in July, and This or the Apocalypse, this small 4-piece metal outfit brings a sonic palette of punishing breakdowns, melodic edge and aggressive riffs.

The band was birthed out of the creative efforts of brothers Zach and Mitch Blank, who started the project while still in high school. Not long after, bassist Dan Schweikert joined and the three became the backbone of the band through an otherwise revolving lineup of vocalists and guitarists.

The release of Face the Storm marked the beginning of the bands first season of regular shows and live events, which gained them a presence in the local scene. 2016 marked the release of Lightbearer, a self produced full length that, along with other difficulties and distractions, took the band away from live performances and forced them into a hiatus.

However, the passion to revive the project never died, and in early 2018 As Lions and Lambs finally managed to pull themselves back together. They returned with a new aggression and excitement, solidifying a lineup, releasing new music and re-entering the local and regional scene with a new energy."
