I’m liking this new album! Album number five from the long-running thrash band Harlott (Australia, 2006-present) is about to arrive. It is eleven tracks in 46 minutes of hard-driving, on-point, laser-focused, pounding, shredding thrash metal curated for quality in the songwriting, barked-prototypical vocals, and tons of guitars. I feel like the first half is more intense and less melodic, while the second finds them pleasantly delivering fast, high-energy songwriting but with more melody, including the vocals, which include some singing.
