Here in the area of Olympia-Tacoma-Seattle-Everett-Bellingham the fans that follow local bands most likely already know how good the band Xoth is. Xoth fans should know that this band right here Phalgeron featured Tyler Splurgis on guitars and vocals, as is the case with Xoth currently. This recording from Phalgeron is such a good album and fans of quality thrash/death/black may be very surprised at the quality of the musicianship and the songwriting.

Metal Archives says: Phalgeron formed in early 2008 at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA. During their brief two year stay in the area, they opened for the Pagan Knights tour, Napalm Death, and Nunslaughter. In late 2009, Phalgeron relocated to Seattle. Since then, they have done five west coast tours, opened for numerous national shows including PaganFest III, and released one full length album entitled "Cosmic Cataclysms". Split-up on January, 2014.
