The Knickers (Brazil)

Biography: Formed in 2007, The Knickers came up with the proposal to make a heavy sound that circulated well and truly between Hard Rock and Classic Heavy Metal. Empowerment and attitude make it stand out in this scenario that is not receptive to female bands.

In 2009 they recorded the first album called “Motherfucker” and in 2010 it was released at one of the biggest rock festivals in Fortaleza, Forcaos. Many concerts took place and important facts gave inspiration for the band to launch the EP "Figth For The Life", which translates well all the machismo and feminicide that fight to not happen, every day, with all women.

Among the 10 years on the road, the following can be highlighted: Forcaos (2011 and 2012), Programa Cena Rock (2011); Selective Wacken Open Air (2011); IV Rock Cordel in Juazeiro do Norte (2012); Opening of the show by the band Crucified Barbara (Sweden) (Brasília 2012) hg Opening of the show by Steelwing (Sweden) - Fortaleza 2014

Formada em 2007, The Knickers surgiu com a proposta de fazer um som pesado que circulasse bem e verdadeiramente entre o Hard Rock e o Heavy Metal Clássico. O empoderamento e atitude faz com que se destaque nesse cenário pouco receptivo a bandas femininas.

Em 2009 gravaram o primeiro disco que se chama “Motherfucker” e em 2010 foi lançado em um dos maiores festivais de rock de Fortaleza o Forcaos. Muitos shows aconteceram e fatos importantes deram inspiração para a banda lançar o EP “Figth For The Life”, que traduz bem todo o machismo e feminicídio que lutam para que não aconteça, todos os dias, com todas as mulheres.
