Kömmand comes to Everett on August 17
“Stop triggering drums. This is metal, not a typewriting class.”
That’s Kömmand. This Seattle band captures the spirit of underground old thrash. A long time ago, before thrash bands began thinking like business people, before thrash became streamlined, commercialized and packaged with releases like Master of Puppets and Reign in Blood, thrash was a down-and-dirty endeavor. Kömmand is thrash, but it’s the spirit of Venom, very early Destruction and Sodom, early Bathory, so on and so forth. Kömmand’s black thrash came to be because they are not happy with the mechanized robotic computerization in metal music. Instead of complaining about it online like impotent losers, they decided to form a band to show how it is done.
Listen to their full-length album Nekrö Kömmandö Attack!
Observe that Kömmand will be playing in Everett.
