Do you want to support a doom growl metal band's demo from Bulgaria?: Upyr

40 minutes of doom, that's their demo. It may be a demo, but to these ears it sounds relatively good quality, and not like a rushed, homemade project. To the music: the vocals are growled and the music takes a long time to get going, and when it does get going, it's still slow, of course. The riffs are few and far in between, as are the drum beats, and the growling is not in any hurry to finish up a word. Some other types of vocals do show up in this recording. Anyway, I think you get the picture, this doom gets down and gloomy, and then it takes a dive for more grey and downcast moods. Face it, there's no hope here; just misery. It's downhill from here. Life won't get better. That's the message that Upyr has for you.

Cheer up, at least life does not last forever.
