November 5, 1961: RIP Kevin Whisler (Kevin Dean Whisler June 15, 1961 - November 5, 2021) - drummer for Bloodgood 1989-1991 and 2013-2021.
According to the Metal Archives, Kevin Whisler handled drum duties for Bloodgood across multiple releases over the years. His recording history with the band includes the 1989 full-length studio album Out of the Darkness and their track on the Hot Metal Summer II split release that same year. In 1990, he provided drums for both audio and video releases of Alive in America: Live Volume One and Shakin' the World: Live Volume Two, as well as their 1991 compilation The Collection. His performance was later featured on the 2002 video release Rock Theater: Alive in America & Shakin' the World, and he returned to record drums for Bloodgood's 2013 studio album, Dangerously Close.
"Bloodgood was an American Christian metal band that formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1983. By 1988, Bloodgood represented one of the four largest Christian metal bands (excluding the mainstream success of Stryper) alongside Barren Cross, Leviticus, and Whitecross." -Wikipedia
