Vesuvian - photos from December 3 in Everett

This past Friday at Tony V's in Everett after Asema and Materia Obscura, Vesuvian took stage with their melodic death metal. They announced that this show was the last one before they go in to record their first full-length album. They feature twin guitar work and melodies prominently in their music for a catchy type of sound. Vesuvian has the habit of giving the audience virtually no break in between songs, so they rock from song to the next, and with growler RJ Mitchell doing some quick banter as the next song is already going, which is a fun way to do a live show, of keeping things moving. By the way, without much of a warning, Vesuvian, after a few songs, launched right into a cover of Andrew WK's "Party Hard." It caught some people by surprise, of course.
