New Zealand socially irredeemable punks form sludge band Unruly and miraculously manage to make a self-titled album

This band is a sludge fan's dream made reality. It is sludge the way that Dr. Eyehategod ordered: lazily slow and angry like a person that is under the influence of certain substances. This band is either playing their music in an abandoned building down by the polluted lake that has the yellowish green water or this band is getting their teeth kicked in by the personnel at the rehabilitation center. Either way, it's going to be a party.

MEMBERS OF CULT SLUDGE BAND METHDRINKER REGROUP TO FORM UNRULY. Unruly are a 3 piece sludge band from Te Whanganui a Tara, New Zealand. Named after an infamous family of British travellers whose beach littering escalated into becoming a rolling media spectacle during the summer of 2018. Long time members of the incestuous Wellington punk scene, previous bands include TVX, Bonecruncher, Freak Magnet, DAHTM, Meth Drinker, Drug Problem, Influence and too many more to name. The LP was recorded and mixed & mastered by Vanya of Scumbag College between November 2019 and April 2020. Unruly are: V.V. guitar and vocals; S.L.D. bass; T.R.A.P. drums and vocals. Their debut self-titled album consists of 9 tracks and will be issued digitally and on vinyl via Sludgelord Records on Friday 31st July
