Biography: Lasher Zombie is a death metal band from the country of Belize located in central america, Belize is also a caribbean country. The band was founded by Lasher (Alfonso Witz) and Howler Zombie(Andy Chuc). Originally the band was a side project to compose original Belizean Extreme metal music from Lasher from the band Pandemonium and Howler Zombie from the band Nomed both founded in the 2006. The band debuted in the 2007 metalmayhem as a four piece band jamming songs that they had been composeing an year before. Lasher Zombie took metal music in Belize to the next level,they brought a new level of brutality making Lasher Zombie the most extreme and heaviest band in that time in the country. Short after Lasher Zombie became a 2 man band,that did not stop the group since they continue performing live shows and spreading the brutality with the help of a drum machine. Lasher Zombie started recording in the 2008 releasing the songs "back from death" and "cruel reality" at that time it was just available through e-mail but in the 2009 the band open a my space an posted there sick demos for the public.
In the 2011 NekroNegro (Lowell Gillet) ex Of The Fallen and Downfall join Lasher Zombie as bass player. Now as a trio the band became a killing machine .That same year the band release an EP name Life's final warning with just 3 devastating songs which was just a taste of what the full length album would be. The song "Falling angel " was part of a compilation of Tornflesh records name Selective Mutism in 2011.Months after Lasher Zombie release it's first full length album name Back from death release through TornFlesh Records(USA) this album is the first metal album in Belize music history. After this 2 releases people around the world started noticing that Belize got metal and Lasher Zombie represented Belize in the underground world of metal appearing in webzines/fanzines/metal blogs world wide. In 2012 Global Metal Apocalypse Awarded Lasher Zombie as ' Best New South American Band 2012' ,Destructive Music rated Lasher Zombie's album ' Back From Death ' 8.5/10 and fiesta FM program Caution Corrosion played the song "back from death" on a rock special making Lasher Zombie the first Belizean metal band to be played in a belize radio station. This releases also inspire young Belizean Metalheads to start up there own extreme metal band. Saul Pech have perform live with Lasher Zombie as adrummer since the 2011.
In 2013 a single "Ancient Mayan Gods" was release also was feature in Lethergic Torment compilation Vol.1 by Letergia Subversiva (Brazil) and the new track "Torture Before Execution" was part of a compilation of Tornflesh records(USA) name Torn From Within . In 2014 Lasher Zombie release the EP"King of kings" through Tornflesh records and was awarded by Global Metal Apocalypse(UK) Best Belizean Release 2014.
