out this week: Eldritch - veteran prog power name returns

The arrival of a new album by Eldritch is always a good reason to smile, for audiences supportive of the melodic singing and the melodic-progressive style of the Italian group. Sporting a huge back catalogue in 20 years of activity, quality is what is on the agenda for 2021. The new work continues their musical ambition of making a progressive metal music that is very understandable to anyone willing to give the band a real chance. Filled with melodies, catchy choruses, and offering a blend of various musical traditions and styles, it's not something that everyone might notice but Eldritch is the type of place in which classic rock and thrash meet up with recurring frequency, and where 1980s melodic heavy metal runs into contemporary and modern progressive metal, and where pop sensibilities find themselves next to some chuggy, groovy heaviness (maybe don't call djenty so that nobody gets offended?!), and wondering how it is that they all ended up in the same place. Well, so, how they did they all end up at the same location in the fall of 2021? The answer is Eldritch.
So far there are two songs available for listening from the album. They are included here below.
