Squirrel Hands - fellas, I like the sound, but I gotta have some cowbell
Squirrel Hands is a Washington State non-experimental, non-prankster metal band. With a name like that, you might expect something unusual or ridiculous. Actually, it's just good ole American groove for jamming and nodding your head while you drink a few cold ones on a Tuesday night at the local bar watching this hairy-and-smelly-winning-American-groove machine. They probably like Black Label Society and Pantera and that type of American sound. You see? Squirrel Hands does not sound like Primus nor Faith No More nor Insane Clown Posse nor banjo New Orleans possum blue grass jazz. It's groove metal for the groove-loving Americans, and man, these American people here in the U.S. they surely love their groove metal, don't they?! Say it, baby, say it: Squirrel Hands! Bruce Dickinson, yes, the Bruce Dickinson would enjoy producing this band, too, but I think that he might want to hear some cowbell. Gotta have some cowbell, baby. Bruce Dickinson has a fever for Squirrel Hands and the only prescription is more cowbell.
