Fermentor is an instrumental drum and guitar duo. If you have an adventurous spirit, then let’s lift up the curtains of this spectacle. It is thrash-based, headbanging instrumental extremity. It is compact, efficient, on-point focused extreme metal with riffs upon riffs, and uptempo/fast/blasting drums. It is not melodic, it is not guitar solo/shred/show-off, nor post-metal/djent/groove/core. It is the guitar crunch energy of thrash and death bands, but in a tighter form with of course very little melody and no vocals, just an attack based on the guitar crunch, like mosh pit song after mosh pit song. There are some brief tiny pauses for the listener to catch up, but those generally last very little before the attack resumes again. This duo’s recording sounds made for the live setting. They seem to keep it as honest as they can: to do live what they do in the studio.
