Metal Archives shows that Jonny Pettersson is a Swede that has tons of bands and projects. The website seems to list some 20 entities. JP, it would seem, is a music workaholic, and has so many entities that serious customers into contemporary extreme sounds from Sweden have already heard and purchased some of his products, like Wombbath. What is next on the agenda for JP? A project called Henry Kane. This time around is fast, simple, heavy, short bursts of speed done in a grimy, muddy way, like grind with an old-school Swedish death metal production, for a crusty overall product. The project is all about moving the chains, keeping things going, not over thinking, and just go, go, go, go blast and growl! Henry Kane provides a vehicle for hollering about whatever is bothering the grind creator: politics, politicians religion, marshmallows, the government, men who shave their beards off, women with no facial hair, whatever. Imagine a grind freak maniac in his bedroom at his grandma’s house emulating Nasum, Rotten Sound and all that stuff, and doing his darnest to go all in heaviness and speed. Henry Kane is for all the true freaks fanatics zealots of love-it-all grind. In the same way that Burger King gives it to you your way, Henry Kane is fast, easy and to be consumed in a rush, and then you get on the highway and on your way to work. Bang your head and move on to the next project by Mr. Pettersson.
