Metal Devastation Records
Motive is big Arizona moshpit-forming, monster-truck-riding redneck thrashing extreme loudness. Motive is all about big, big love. They love the Second Amendment, they love big fat riffs, big fat burgers, the American flag, they love the Arizona scorching hot sun and the desert, and they love big obnoxious thrashing. They love all those things, but not such much the hipsters, liberals, leftists, whiners, religious fundamentalists, political freaks and radicals, flag burners, anarchists and boycotting-nutjobs.
Motive is the type of music that American bars should play out patriotic duty for when their customers are chugging down, chowing down and throwing down, and then throwing up on the sidewalk. Do you have a big truck? Are you a fan of burgers, sausage and barbecue? What about some violent sports like football and cage fighting? How about some violent video games? Motive would like to say “Hi there, Bubba” to you. Musically, they just don’t care for the rules because that’s just how they rock. It is thrash, but it’s big fat thrash with screaming and intelligible semi-growling. Sometimes they groove, sometimes they go into blasting, sometimes they do breakdowns, and anything that will get a moshpit going for fans of bro metal, groove metal, middle America metal, thrash and growling extreme sounds. Play this music when you drive to work and when you drive to the weekend’s monster truck show.
Well, that’s about it for now. Go listen to some Motive. I gotta get going. I have a whole bunch of fireworks leftover that I need to use to wake up the whole neighborhood. These people don’t seem to like fireworks, but c’mon, people, what’s there not to like about things blowing up shiny and real purty and stuff. Makes me happy just thinking about it, Bubba.
