hipster gremlin metal: ORANSSI PAZUZU (Finland)

This band makes an effort to make the music tripped out and for that reason, the audience that likes the music "direct" and "quick" must steer clear of this album because those people will have a fit when they hear what Oranssi Pazuzu has done with their precious little genres. They took trippy, hippy rock, space rock and they spun it around until that genre was dizzy, and then brought "gremlin" vocals and metal to the playground, causing confusion, but that's what this band wants from you, don't you see?, they want you to get down with your bad self, boogie down, make a little noise, raise your eyebrows, smile and frown at the same time, throw the rulebook into the recycling bin and just let it go, let it go, it's all good in here, just relax, there's no destination in particular, just explore space rock and metal and see what happens, some of it is trippy, some of it is metal, some of it sounds like they are just pushing your buttons and pushing their own buttons, who knows, you know?, it's not about making a point, it's not an argument, for or against this or that, it's sounds that they like to make and maybe other people like it, too, or not, whatever, it's alright, no biggie, the world won't end just because someone doesn't like it, or likes it, or is not sure, it's ok, if you don't care to care too much about not caring to care.
