NEWS: Seattle's Cystic Demo

According to Bandcamp, Cystic is a band from Seattle, although the picture of the band does not look like they are in Seattle because Seattle does not look like a desert, but maybe their van broken down in the eastern side of the state.

This is ten minutes of raw extreme metal, and as you can see below, they cover an old Sepultura song (the later version that the Brazilians adapted). The cover sounds like the rest of the recording, fitting in that Cystic cacophony, that sound quality of a bunch of computer-hating, anti-nerd metal barbarians going crazy in their garage making an unpolished death metal recording that is a declaration that these Washingtonians want their music primal, minimalist, obnoxious without the fancy studio magic.

Let's just say that Fenriz from Darkthrone would be very pleased with Cystic.
