NEWS: upcoming album from Deconstructing Sequence (astronaut extreme metal)

[They must have gotten tired of the rules. They didn't like being told what to do with music. They got tired of the genres. Something snapped. They snapped! Bonkers. They lost their marbles and decided to go to the outer space of their minds. Progressive extreme metal only begins to describe this sound. The programmed drumming and the space sounds all points towards the music for NASA engineers or maybe even you. Hi, friend, you work at NASA, right?!]
Deconstructing Sequence
Cosmic Progression: An Agonizing Journey Through Oddities of Space
15 January 2018
Past praise for Deconstructing Sequence: “Access Code” is the perfect EP for those who are lovers of science fiction and for those who are lovers of good Metal. DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCEare creative, storytellers, and most of all brilliant musicians. Give this EP a listen.-Metal Temple
Access Code is invention at its most damaging, arousing, and brilliantly animated best, extreme metal with a new intent and breath which sets Deconstructing Sequence not only apart from the rest but as a template for others to find inspiration in.-The Ringmaster Review
UK time travelers Deconstructing Sequence have recorded a new 2-song EP called Access Code, amounting to more than 16 minutes of new music. Yeah, that doesn’t really sound like a lot, but the futuristic mech-out violence metes out a very high quality to make up for the relatively low quantity.-Decibel Magazine
Progressive blackened death metal band DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCE will release Cosmic Progression: An Agonizing Journey Through Oddities of Space on the 15th of January 2018. The album is the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2014 EP Access Code.

About Deconstructing Sequence: The roots of Deconstructing Sequence go back to the band Northwail which played a form of black/death metal with strong progressive influences. After two studio albums (“Enigma” in 2008 and “Cold Season” in 2011) the band split-up due to artistic differences. Band members Morph and Tiberius who wanted to explore further progressive and avant-garde regions of extreme music formed Deconstructing Sequence, which is an expansion of the idea going beyond borders of metal. The band performs music inspired by extreme metal bands (i.e. Emperor, Akercocke, Nile), progressive/avant-garde groups (i.e. Arcturus, Dødheimsgard, Aborym) and post-rock music (i.e. God is an Astronaut), creating a mix of technique, atmosphere and brutality that they describe as Extreme Progressive Art.
Eventually DS was joined by J. Nerexo from avant-garde black metal group Shadows Land, who as a drummer fitted perfectly into the band’s new, more aggressive, twisted and progressive style. The result of this collaboration was the "Year One” EP , which was mixed and mastered in April 2013 by Arek "Aro" Jablonski at Monroe Sound Studio. In August of 2014 the band released the “Access Code” EP along with a video created by Costin Chioreanu of Twilight13Media who has previously worked with artists like Mayhem, Deicide, Ava Inferi, Ihsahn, Ulver and Summoning.
In 2018 Deconstructing Sequence launch a 55min LP titled "Cosmic Progression: An Agonizing Journey Through Oddities of Space" that is a summary of the ideas given on the two earlier EP's.
