NEWS: Castle Freak

Castle Freak
Human Hive
label: independent
release: 18 March 2016
Please note that on Bandcamp the new album is not available for listening yet, but the 2014 recording "Still Rotting" is available for streaming and free download.
"CASTLE FREAK return with Human Hive. Human Hive takes the sound that the band perfected on their previous EP, Still Rottting and takes it to the next level. The EP features 5 tracks of disgusting death metal and includes a re-recording of two older tracks (Sickening Corpses and Toxic Winds) and a cover of Impetigo's Boneyard. Human Hive will be released on March 19 on both a limited edition cassette and digitally. Human Hive also marks a line-up change for the band with Ben Anft now on bass (Ex-Necropsy) and Sebastian Phillips (NOISEM) joining on drums. Guitarist Zak Carter had the following to say about the EP 'I'm very fucking stoked about how our new E.P. "Human Hive" turned out. It's our first release since coming back from being on hiatus for most of 2015, and our first with our new rhythm section. I'm very happy to have my longtime friends Sebastian Phillips and Ben Anft in the group on drums and bass, respectively, and I feel that their contributions to this release make it a perfect successor to "Still Rotting" both in terms of songwriting and production.'"
