young whippersnappers just don't stop: Ocellus (Wisconsin): "Departure"

Ocellus: "Departure"
Ocellus is from Wisconsin, and they (the band, not Wisconsin) have three guitarists; and do both a metalcore breakdown growling style, and a melodic singing style.
Now, I know what you may be thinking ("Will the Packers win the Superbowl this upcoming season?"), but I have to tell you: Ocellus is a proficient bunch and does have a "young band" energy to them, which is instantly audible on the album.
The band calls itself a "progressive metal" band, but I would say the music is "Killswitch Engage growl/melodic metalcore."
Really, it does not matter. Ocellus sounds like pros here.
They do down breakdowns, harmony guitars, traditional singing, growl like nobody's business, and generally just rock their mittens off.
Recommended for fans of Killswitch Engage and metalcore in particular.
They have a video on YouTube, and just as one would expect, their song "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" demonstrates why the young crowd would get into this band: very active, with a band-having-fun energy to them, synchronized jumping, headbanging, striking the metal poses, and all the things young metalcore followers appreciate.
